| The author, Keith Churilla, has served as a pastor in Washington and Oregon for over thirty years. He graduated from Corban College and holds a MDiv. degree from Denver Baptist Theological Seminary (now merged with Faith Baptist Seminary). He has served three congregations as a senior pastor and is currently serving as the pastor of New Life Community Church in Salem, Oregon. New Life works in a high needs neighborhood which has provided an opportunity for Pastor Churilla to gain insight in how to address the needs of those that are struggling with addictions. He has learned that God's power does deliver people from addictions, but the void that is the genesis of the addiction must be filled. As a result, he has sought to develop a resource that will help the struggling Christian fill the void by cultivating a healthy walk with the Lord. | ||
